Parking

Although the DWA does not own parking areas, parking is available at surrounding parking lots, varying in price from $3.00-$7.00. City-operated parking meters are also available.

Public Transportation

Public transportation has a huge impact on the environment and its use is highly encouraged. Each guest arriving at the DWA via public transportation, will receive $1.00 off regular admission price by presenting his/her transportation receipt.

The closest DART Rail station to the DWA is the West End Station, which is a three to four- minute walk.

The DART Rail has four lines and works in conjunction with the TRE and the DCTA (Denton County Transportation Authority), thus there are multiple options for convenient public transportation to the DWA.

DART RAIL LINES: (Click the link for each rail line schedule)

RED LINE runs from WESTMORELAND STATION north to PARKER ROAD STATION. Heading north bound or south bound, get off at WEST END STATION.

BLUE LINE runs from LEDBETTER STATION northeast into downtown Garland. Heading northeast or southwest, get off at WEST END STATION.

GREEN LINE runs from BUCKNER STATION north to NORTH CARROLLTON/ FRANKFORD STATION. Heading north bound or south bound, get off at the WEST END STATION.

ORANGE LINE runs from PARKER ROAD STATION (south bound parallel with the red line) to downtown Dallas where it follows the green line path north, terminating at BACHMAN STATION. Heading north bound or south bound, get off at the WEST END STATION.

TRE runs from Downtown Ft. Worth to UNION STATION. Get off at VICTORY STATION and transfer to the green line towards BUCKNER STATION. The next station is WEST END STATION where you exit the green line.

DCTA runs south from downtown Denton to TRINITY MILLS STATION (green line), where you transfer to the DART rail and follow the green line instructions.
