Catering

The dining and event areas available at The Dallas World Aquarium allow for a multitude of culinary experiences. Four areas with three complete commercial kitchens, two restaurants and six bars are located throughout the facility. Catering services are provided by expert in-house staff, with attention to detail and creativity in presentation, cuisine, and service from Daryl's By Design.
 
AQUARIUM
The Reef Room, located on the first floor of the Aquarium exhibit, can accommodate a seated serve dinner for 100 or a cocktail reception for 200 amidst the saltwater exhibits from around the world. This area is available after 6:00 pm. On the second level of the Aquarium exhibit, the Port Hole offers beautiful nighttime views of downtown Dallas. With approximately 4,500 square feet of banquet and entertainment space, the Port Hole can accommodate up to 400 for a formal setting or 500 for an informal function. This area is available for early morning breakfasts, daytime in-service programs, luncheons or evening dinners.
 
RAINFOREST
On the first floor of the Orinoco - Secrets of the River rainforest exhibit, the underwater floor-to-ceiling acrylic viewing panel looks into the River display. This area is also available after 6:00 p.m. and is included with the adjacent Tribal Gallery/Theater. The Tribal Gallery is ample space for a seated serve dinner for 250 or cocktails and hors d’ oeuvres for 350 people. State-of-the-art audio-visual equipment adds to the corporate usefulness of this setting.
 
MUNDO MAYA
Cafe Maya, located on the third level of the Mundo Maya exhibit, provides an expansive overhead view of the exhibit. It has an adjoining outdoor patio area (roughly 600 square feet) available for warm weather enjoyment for smaller groups. Approximately 3,600 square feet in size, the indoor area can accommodate 140 for a seated dinner or a cocktail reception for 220 guests.
 
ENDANGERED SPECIES GALLERY
An additional venue is located in the "Yellow Building" that connects to the main building by an aerial walkway spanning Corbin Street. The Endangered Species Gallery features ten screen prints created by Andy Warhol in 1983 and are displayed around the room. This gallery can accommodate seated service for 180 or a cocktail buffet for 250 guests and is available for both daytime or evening events.
